Northwest Rankin High School is proud to be part of the Rankin County School District, the third largest school district in the state of Mississippi and holds the proud distinction of having an “A” accreditation, which is the highest accreditation rating given to schools by the Mississippi Department of Education. As part of NW rigorous curriculum, students are able to earn college credit while they are still enrolled in high school. Our well-trained and dedicated teachers work diligently to educate and promote students who are ready for the challenges of employment and college. The administration, teachers, support staff, and counselors hold every student to high standards and expectations. We are proud to be considered an academic institution that promotes innovative teaching practices while also preparing our students for the competitive global economy of tomorrow. NW implements a 1:1 ratio with students and computers.
